At this meeting, Stephen Strother will give a presentation entitled "Multivariate Analysis of CIMBI Altanserin 5-HT2A Binding Potential Values".
Abstract: I will provide a tutorial presentation on how I have used
multivariate analysis approaches to explore age vs. sex interactions in
the Altanserin 5-HT2A binding potential values for 19-40 year olds from
the CIMBI database. Preliminary results indicate that there are highly
significant age and sex linked regional effects in this cohort. The two
opensource multivariate analysis packages I will briefly address are
Partial Least Squares, and Canonical Variates Analysis, a form of
linear discriminant in the NPAIRS resampling framework. Both packages
are freely available in Java from http://code.google.com/p/plsnpairs/.
